DIY Electric Car Powered by Overhead Cable

Hey everyone, Laksh here! I wanted to share something cool I figured out with my DIY car. Remember how it used to run on batteries? Well, I took those bulky batteries out and hooked my car up to something totally different: a giant electric wire!

Imagine a train getting its power from a cable overhead? That’s the idea! I ran a long copper cable, kind of like a thick electrical wire, up high and even buried some underground. Then, I connected the battery I used to have to these new cables. Like a train, I attached a special thingy on top of my car that slides along the overhead cable – think of it like a hook that can move.

Finally, the moment of truth! I flipped the switch and guess what? My car started rolling forward exactly like an electric train getting its juice from the wire above. It was awesome!

This is just the beginning, but I’m excited to see where this electric car train idea takes me. Stay tuned for more experiments!
